SPECIE’S NAME: Phoenix
CLASS: Elemental, Fire, Bird
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Phoenixes are great birds with shapeshifting capacities that enable them to change their size. These birds are usually bearers of feathers of the colors of the fire; red, orange, yellow (although legends describes them as made of fire). On rare occasions, they can be observed catching fire, in order to heal and regenerate.
Phoenixes plum every year or so, on a specific week.
TYPICAL BEHAVIOUR:
Phoenixes are proud creatures. Bearers of a great quantity of pride, they are birds who tend to be observed as solitary beings. The population of fire birds being highly limited, this phenomena is easily explainable and understandable.
Other than this loner behavior, very little is known.
ABILITIES:
Phoenixes are powerful creatures with the ability to regenerate themselves. Whenever their life comes to an end, they are able to ignite themselves and start over in a new body which will grow to the size they wish.
Obviously, these birds have great control and capabilities when it comes to creating and controlling fire. They can make fire in and out of their body. Since they have a greater control over internal fires, they tend to create flames from within. Just like it is for every pyrokynetic power, the closer the element is to the body of the individual, the easier it is to control. However, phoenixes have a much greater control of the element than other species.
DRAWBACKS:
Phoenixes have a poor resistance to water. If ever they were about to die in the water, they wouldn’t be able to regenerate themselves without outside help, for fire cannot sustain itself under water. It also becomes hard for the birds to heal any injury whenever they are in a windy or inappropriate context to light up a fire.
HABITAT:
These birds can be observed anywhere, although they prefer warmer regions.
