OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Alkaia has a playful and cheerful personality. It's quite difficult to get her to despise you and if she ever happens to dislike you, you must be one hell of a d*ck. She's always up for a walk in the nature or for a ride on her pet companion the hippogriff, and might sometimes annoy people with her unceasing chattering about the things she likes. She often sleeps in classes when it is not about her favorite subjects, however she still manages to keeps good relations with the teachers of the school. pretty much sums it up.OP sucks when describing personalities sorry.
LIKES: NATURE AND FORESTS duuuh. Her dear hippogriff and satyres. She often parties with satyres in the forest and likes to morph into a tree in her spare time.
DISLIKES: London and any other big cities. bugs are annoying and neon lights as well...
STRENGTHS: She is a good archer. She also has a lot of knowledge about magical creatures and about different types of plants and trees (basically anything related to forests). She is also a very good drinker thanks to her partying ways with satyres.
WEAKNESSES: She is weak against fire and is very ticklish on her neck. Touch her neck and she is K.O basically. She can't swim and is a dead weight in water.
FEARS: Other elves, Urbanized cities and technology make her feel nauseous. She also fears her brother and his clan.
POWER(S): Her element is earth. However she doesn't master it very well since her powers bloomed very late. At this point, she can only grow vines and medium sized plants. However her archery skill are quite good.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION:
Alkaia has all the basic elvish traits such as a slim and petite figure, pointy ears and a slightly tan skin tone. Her long auburn hair and bright green eyes make her look very similar to her twin brother since they were both made artificially with the same genetic information. She used to cover herself in leaves when she lived with dryads but had to change her habits since the school's authorities deemed her attire to be inappropriate. She now wears loose-fitting dresses since pants are too uncomfortable.
HISTORY:
Her story begins somewhere in the Caledonian forest of Scotland where lives a concealed group of elves addicted to magic and power. Their goal is to expand their race as much as possible and to fight off the other species of the woodland. Thanks to their advanced technology, they created a transparent dome around their village to hide themselves from humans and other mythical creatures..
Their superiority complex and their obsession with magic and power led them to attempt creating the perfect prototype of their race which would have complete control over the element of earth. They took years to artificially generate a female and male prototype with all the specific traits they desired. They would respectively be called: Alkaia and Alkon. The elves’ plan was that the siblings would guarantee the safety and prosperity of their village and could help them dominate other creatures of the forest. However, the plan did not go exactly as they thought.
52 years ago the experiment was conducted. The male prototype was created exactly as planned. Alkon’s magical essence was immensely strong. It was as if he had inherited twice the magical power he was originally supposed to have. The village members worshipped him as superior being and as their newly born leader. On the other hand, the elves felt nothing emanate from Alkaia. They came to the conclusion that an error had probably occurred during her development which resulted into her not inheriting any magical essence. A prototype with no magical power was of no use to them, thus they decided to get rid of this failed baby by abandoning her in the wood far away from their village. They did not want to feel the guilt of killing her, so they left Alkaia to get killed or eaten by another wandering creature.
But destiny had other plans for the child. Little did the elves know that a dryad would notice the baby as they left her near an oak tree. Darachy, the spirit the largest oak tree of the forest took care of the child from then. Alkaia mostly grew around Darachy’s dryad friends and with other peaceful creatures of the forest such as centors, fairies, forest trolls and satyres. She covered herself with tree leaves and fed on various herbs until she got old enough to hunt animals by herself. The young girl was taught how to kill animals without inflicting pain to them and hence, greatly developed her archery skills by doing so. The dryad, Darachy, helped her connect with the nature around her which finally made Alkaia’s powers bloom. The elf was able to use her magical essence to have control over the element of earth. Obviously, her powers were not very advanced and she started off by only making small plants grow, but her abilities improved with time. Slowly, she learned how to grow larger plants and vines. The young elf was getting impatient and couldn’t wait to further improve her skills and to learn more complex things. Darachy, told her not to stress out with it and to give herself some time to develop her capacities. Alkaia often questioned her about her own race but the dryad would always avoid giving her any answers about it.
That was until the young elf witnessed with her own eyes what the other members of her race were up to. It was two years ago that she saw for the first time her brother with her own eyes. Obviously she had no idea that it was actually her brother, she only saw a tall, slim adolescent male with pointy ears ,accompanied by two other males of the same race who had similar features to her. She hid her presence in the branches of a tree and silently observed them from her position. Two seconds later, the adolescent raised his right hand and all of a sudden the ground was trembling. The quaking quickly intensified and evolved into tremors with a radius of 100m. Terrified, the young girl tightly gripped the branches near her to keep her from falling. Her eyes were wide open, she had a hard time processing what she just saw.
Later that day, Darachy finally spilled the beans about the existence of the elf clan and about her origins. Alkaia had difficulties believing what her mentor was telling her but knew deep inside that it was the only logical explanation. Darachy also told her that it would be best for her obtain a real education so she could grow up as a person and decide of her own future by herself. It was with a great deal of sorrow that Darachy would leave the young elf on her own but she knew it was for her own best. However, Alkaia would not leave alone on her adventure; Darachy made her meet a friendly hippogriff who would be her travelling company from then.
Alkaia left after promising them she would one day return to help them fight against the growing powers of her brother.
Today, it has been 2 years since Alkaia left the forest to attend school. She never misses out on classes about magical creatures or about natural environments and often skips her other classes to wander around in the school’s forest.
FAMILY: She has a brother who she only saw once. The only people she considers as family are the dryads of the forest where she grew.
